About

Hello — I'm glad you're here.

Massage should not feel rushed. Every session here is built around what your body actually needs that day rather than a fixed routine, and there is time to talk about what is bothering you before anything begins.

Whether you are working through something specific or simply need an hour to put everything down, you are welcome here.

How I work

Three things that never change

Your pressure, your call

Deeper isn't better — the right pressure is the one your body doesn't have to brace against. Say the word at any point and it changes immediately.

The hour is really an hour

Sixty minutes of hands-on time, not fifty with the intake and the changing folded in. The schedule is built with room between sessions on purpose.

No selling from the table

You'll never be pitched a package while you're face-down and half asleep. If something would genuinely help, I'll mention it once, afterwards.

Training

How I trained, and what I keep learning

Core training covers Swedish and relaxation massage, deep tissue and trigger point work, hot stone therapy and assisted stretching.

Happy to coordinate with a physical therapist or chiropractor if you're already working with one.

Good to know

Common questions

What should I wear?

Whatever's comfortable to arrive in. During the session you'll be draped with a sheet the entire time and only the area being worked on is uncovered. Undress to whatever level you're happy with.

I've never had a massage before.

Then start with a 60-minute Swedish. I'll explain everything before we begin, and you can ask me to stop or change anything at any point.

Will it hurt?

It shouldn't. Firm work can be intense in a good way, but pain makes muscles guard, which defeats the point. Tell me and I'll ease off.

How far ahead should I book?

Usually a week for a specific time, though last-minute openings happen most weeks. Members get first pick.

Come and see for yourself.

One hour, one quiet room, and no agenda other than how you feel at the end of it.
